so i guess you guys want to know what happened..

i am not going into great detail but

it was a DUI case.. and we convicted him... it was somewhat interesting... but all you had to get for a DUI is you prove that his judgment was impaired to the slightest degree... and he also had a BAC of .11 or something (.08 is limit).. there was a lot of squabbling over what happened when the sobriety tests were taking place...and a lot of defense was about putting doubt on the the accuracy/etc of the intoxilizer 5000(breathalizer)... which was a decent defense.. which had some good points

it was 2 days..

what was cool: i pretty much got to share with a couple people. 1 of them, was part of the final jury and after the case was over the second day, we went to a coffee place and i showed him some scriptures for awhile.. it's pretty crazy because it's not something i would normally do - particularly for something like jury duty ... but i guess anything can happen if you just listen and obey

so jury duty was kind of interesting...

yes i did get picked... the most boring part was probably when i got picked and then the big group of prospective jurors had to wait in small room waiting to go to the courtroom to be then (randomly?) picked to be prospective jurors-questioning.. and i was picked with 9 others.. and they only need 6 of them... and i was selected first to be a juror from that.

but  i was bummed because that case was 2 days long.. and i didn't want to go back...

but overall, the case was kinda interesting.. .. its hard to follow along all the time. opinion is almost constantly swaying from defense to prosecution after each turn..

if you want to know more happened.. ask
